1. All cats are checked by a vet. On or soon after arrival.

2. All adult cats are spayed/neutered before going out to a new home. We cannot spay/neutered very young kittens and we ask the new owner to do this as soon as the kitten is old enough.

3. All cats are treated for fleas (either Frontline or Stronghold) on arrival.

4. All cats are wormed with Drontal on arrival.

5. As far as possible, we make sure the cat receives the same diet here as before he/she came unless the cat is a stray.

6. If the cat is suspected of being ill, it is brought into an isolation pen in the house.

7. We do NOT believe that a cat should be put to sleep because it has FIV (cat aids) or FELV (leukaemia). If there is a chance to find an indoor home for these cats, we will strive to do that.

8. No prospective owner is allowed to take a cat from here. The cat will be delivered by us personally. If we do not know the property or the area, we will also homecheck.

9. All cats have access to an outside run where they can take the air and sit in the sun.

10. No cat is put to sleep because it has been here for a long time. We do NOT put cats to sleep to make room for incoming cats.
